I hope you all made it here ok. I used to have this blog kind of shoehorned in to the website for my psychology practice. I won’t bore you with the details, but in the process of getting my practice website into shape, I broke Grid Therapy. I wish you could see the bruise on my forehead from the head-desk action that’s been going on around here. But in the end, my two worlds of psychology and crosswords are now properly separated, and both sites are the better for it. You shouldn’t notice anything too different, but please let me know if you encounter a problem.
I’ve got a Free Association puzzle again for you this week. I’d like to give a big thanks to Christopher Adams for being my test solver this week. He is a talented constructor and I appreciate his input very much. Have a great weekend my friends!
I'm a husband, father, psychologist, musician, and crossword constructor living in Catonsville, MD. My puzzles have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and its syndicates, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Andrews McMeel Universal Syndicate, the American Values Club Crossword, Spyscape Crossword, The Crosswords Club, and crossword apps such as the Redstone Crossword Puzzle App on iOS and Google Play. All of that means I've been published in every newspaper in the United States and many others around the world. Here at Grid Therapy, I can show a bit more of myself than the major publishers can allow. I hope you enjoy your time here on the crossword couch! I'd love to hear from you if you have comments or suggestions. If you're interested in having a custom crossword puzzle created for your event or organization, email me at drtrent (at) gmail.com.

Nice new design! It’s good to separate your work from your hobby.
I continue to enjoy how you wind your family into your puzzles with some of the clues. Refreshing, and comfortable. Thanks again for a wonderful puzzle.

Another gem, Trent — 1 Across is a great entry but definitely does NOT describe your work! The clue for 15 Across gave me info I didn’t have before…wonder why that is? More experience, maybe? Love the “Beth” clue — love the whole thing. Smooth, challenging, and totally fair. Thank you!

Thank you both so much!

Great puzzle as always. I loved seeing “The Woman” in 52 down. right next to 51 down.
