I enjoyed getting to see so many of you at ACPT! A few were kind enough to come up to say they enjoy Grid Therapy. Which is an ego boost like you can’t imagine. However, I also immediately felt like a piece of crap because I haven’t posted since February. Well, my guilt is your gain because here’s a new one. It is harder than usual. As verified by its crackerjack test solver and top-20 ACPT finisher Matt Gritzmacher. Thank you Matt! Puzzles will continue at their slow pace for the foreseeable future as I have more paid puzzle work and some new ventures in my psychology career that demand my attention. But I will be back! Have a great week everyone.
I'm a husband, father, psychologist, musician, and crossword constructor living in Catonsville, MD. My puzzles have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and its syndicates, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Andrews McMeel Universal Syndicate, the American Values Club Crossword, Spyscape Crossword, The Crosswords Club, and crossword apps such as the Redstone Crossword Puzzle App on iOS and Google Play. All of that means I've been published in every newspaper in the United States and many others around the world. Here at Grid Therapy, I can show a bit more of myself than the major publishers can allow. I hope you enjoy your time here on the crossword couch! I'd love to hear from you if you have comments or suggestions. If you're interested in having a custom crossword puzzle created for your event or organization, email me at drtrent (at) gmail.com.

Comment hey Trent great meeting you at ACPT! Don’t sweat the blog, we’re still getting plenty of Trent puzzles out there in the published world! Loved this crossword though. So many great long entries, like 21A “Oh hell yeah!” And 48A “Christ I thought I’d never get home” was just plain fun. Also got a good laugh out of 35D Snow’s shitty cousin, haha. Great puzzle! It was a five couches one for me!

This puzzle played pretty hard for me, but in the end I had no errors, and the clues & answers were all fair. (Yay for me, lol!)
